This tutorial will guide you through the simple setup instruction for Linux based computers.
- Download and Install VLC Player from Videolan.org
- Run VLC Player and click onto ‘Media’ -> ‘Network Tab’ -> ‘Open Network Stream’.
- Paste your unique ‘network URL’ into the address bar, then click onto ‘Play’
- In order to view the full channel list click onto ‘View’ -> Playlist.
Watching Live TV after initial setup
- Run VLC Player -> Click onto: ‘Media’ -> Select: ‘Open Network Stream’ -> Go to the: ‘Network Tab’
- Ensure unique playlist URL is entered into the: ‘Network URL’ input.
- Click onto the ‘Play’ button.
- In order to view the full channel list click onto ‘View’ -> Playlist.
Troubleshooting Live TV
If you have any problems viewing the Live TV Service please follow this recommended fix.
- Flush your DNS. In Ubuntu/Debian/Linux Mint, open ‘Terminal’ then enter: sudo /etc/init.d/dns-clean start
- Reboot Linux and your Router.
