Linux Setup Tutorial

This tutorial will guide you through the simple setup instruction for Linux based computers.

Setup Live TV Store on Linux based Systems

  1. Download and Install VLC Player from Videolan.org
  2. Run VLC Player and click onto ‘Media’ -> ‘Network Tab’ -> ‘Open Network Stream’.
  3. Paste your unique ‘network URL’ into the address bar, then click onto ‘Play’
  4. In order to view the full channel list click onto ‘View’ -> Playlist.

Watching Live TV after initial setup

  1. Run VLC Player -> Click onto: ‘Media’ -> Select: ‘Open Network Stream’ -> Go to the: ‘Network Tab’
  2. Ensure unique playlist URL is entered into the: ‘Network URL’ input.
  3. Click onto the ‘Play’ button.
  4.  In order to view the full channel list click onto ‘View’ -> Playlist.

Troubleshooting Live TV
If you have any problems viewing the Live TV Service please follow this recommended fix.

  1. Flush your DNS. In Ubuntu/Debian/Linux Mint, open ‘Terminal’ then enter: sudo /etc/init.d/dns-clean start
  2. Reboot Linux and your Router.

  1. Go to the login page at: http://my.tvstore.link:6900/client_area/
  2. Enter your login username and password. You can find these in the My Account area if you do not have them.
  3. Click onto any channel to view.
